Status Check (mini-post)

It’s been almost five months since I last published anything on the blog — sorry for the radio silence! There’s been a lot of interconnected work to get through, but I’m just about ready to start sharing again.

A brief programmatic note: I originally imagined this blog as a space where I would mostly learn from and write about others’ projects, and only occasionally give updates on my own research. In practice, it’s turned out the other way around. I currently have two or three more posts of that latter type in the works, hopefully dropping soon. Over time, I expect the balance to shift back, but we’ll see.

Some of the other projects I’m still looking forward to writing about:

  • Dharmamitra (so many aspects!)

  • Muktabodha

  • Wisdom Library (Gabe Hiemstra)

  • Jain eLibrary (Anish Visaria)

  • Sanskrit Research Institute (Martin Gluckman)

And some topics:

  • LLMs: For Everything, Everywhere, All at Once

  • Pāṇini projects

  • Project Infra: From Offline Desktop Software to Web Apps to Packages and APIs

If you other ideas, please let me know! Talk more soon.
